The locality of Stadium Algarve benifits availability of accommodation in the municipalities of Loulé, Faro and Albufeira, that so provides a positive boost to the development as does the easy access afforded by the various transport infrastructures.

Accessibility and Location

São João da Venda / Esteval has been chosen as the location as it meets a host of prerequisites specifically with regards to issues like land planning and the environment, accessibility and centrality / accommodation , in a way that safeguards against any adverse impact on the existing protected areas of the two municipalities, as well as other zones of clear environmental susceptibility in the region.

The locality and accessibility of the Parque das Cidades is made possible by the following methods of transport:

• Airport: Faro International Airport is 8 km from Parque das Cidades.
• A2 Freeway: provides a link to the capital Lisbon , approximately 290 km away and from there to the rest of the country.
• A22 Freeway: this is also known as the Via do Infante, and crosses the whole breadth of Algarve with links to the Andalusia Freeway in the neighbouring Spanish province, with Seville a little over 200 km away.
• Railways: the new railway line has a stop at Parque das Cidades and is linked from there to Algarve and Lisbon .
• EN125: this is the National Road along the coast through the whole region.
